Thieftech automotive security was started in early 2007. While we are a young business, we know what we are doing, and we have already managed to upset many competitors, by not holding back on the things we say, or the information we divulge.
In late 2006, my Ford F-350 Superduty diesel truck was stolen from the Central & Bell Rd. area of Phoenix.
It took over an hour for the police to arrive.
My truck was never recovered, and my insurance company toyed with me for nearly 8 months.
They ended up denying my claim, stating that the "...vehicle was parked in a high crime area without notification of the insurer".
The excuse of all excuses if you ask me.
My truck was parked under a light, with all doors locked. The truck had nothing valuable in it, not even an aftermarket CD player. The factory alarm was also set. But even with this, it was stolen, and the thieves didn't even leave a piece of glass on the ground.
At this point, I realized that theft was a huge problem, and many people suffer from denied claims each year, losing one of their biggest assets, and paying out of pocket for it. So, I began researching theft and the devices available to prevent it.
One night I was having a conversation with a friend and we were discussing how easy it was to really steal a vehicle. He told me "I'm sure some of those things (anti theft products available) can't be defeated. Some of them have to work."
I took this as a challenge. After a mere 2 weeks of internet research, coupled with some basic skills and knowledge that I already had, I discovered how to defeat steering wheel locks, brake locks, alarm systems, GPS tracking systems, LoJack and other RF based tracking systems, factory alarm systems, factory RFID based Transponder key systems, flat plug type immobilizer devices, relay based transponder devices, wheel locks, laser cut key systems, and a few other things.
This is when I came across the Ravelco.
I studied it, researched it, asked questions, broke it down in diagram after diagram, theory after theory, and I couldn't figure the thing out.
So, I decided to sell it. I sell the Ravelco, and only the Ravelco. There is no other system that I feel is as capable and effective at preventing vehicle theft as the Ravelco, and if there was, I would sell it.
I am so confident in the product, that we Guarantee our installations. All of our technicians are highly trained in the installation process of the Ravelco, and each and every connection is as good as, or better than, factory.
Thieftech is building our reputation throughout the state of Arizona rapidly, while we step on the feet of our competitors, and hold no information back from our customers.
