Welcome to Thieftech, your one and only source for real automotive security in Arizona!
Did you know that you have a 1 in 69.56 chance of getting your vehicle stolen this year?
That's right. Every Arizona resident risks it. One of these days you could walk out to your car, just to find a nice empty parking spot.
If you want to avoid being a victim of auto theft, then continue reading.
No, we don't sell car alarms. We don't sell tracking systems. We don't sell steering locks, brake locks, wheel locks, or any other type of lock. All we do, our sole business, is sell the Ravelco Anti Theft Device!
The Ravelco anti theft device is the only device on earth that has not been defeated! With more than 3,500,000 installations in 6 countries, the Ravelco still stands as the most effective anti theft device on earth. It does one thing, prevents your vehicle from being stolen, and it does that extremely well.
If you want to prevent your vehicle from being stolen, get a Ravelco today! But, if you are just curious, or you aren't quite sure the Ravelco is right for you, keep reading.
So, why don't we sell all of these other popular, highly profitable, easy-to-sell products? Here are a few reasons...
- Alarms are banned in some cities, including New York City, because they are completely un-effective. Not only do they make your neighbors hate you, but 95% of them are SO simple to defeat that even teenage "joyriders" know how to do it these days.
- LoJack and similar devices can be detected, located, and destroyed. Of course, a device used "by the police" should be outstanding, right? Wrong. You can locate a LoJack by using a simple, easy to find, cheap RF scanning device. All you need to do is find something that will let you hear the LoJack signal. It's really that simple.
- The Club, The Autolock, and all similar devices can be defeated in 25 seconds or less. Not only can a steering wheel be cut through in a matter of seconds, but these devices can be picked by anyone with a $20 lockpick kit, and they can even be snapped in half using a device made JUST for that purpose!
- Factory chipped security keys can ALL be defeated. Some take no more than a .30 cent electrical device. Some can be cloned/duplicated remotely. Some can be bypassed by swapping the ECU. And there are devices sold on the Internet made JUST for the purpose of bypassic "security" keys. How do you think remote start systems work?
- GPS/Sattelite/GMRS/Cellular tracking devices are EXTREMELY easy to disable. The Cellular based systems (GMRS,CDMA, Etc.) can be jammed using a device you can buy from dozens of websites for under $100. The GPS based ones have an antenna sticking out of the car somewhere... How hard can that be to find and break off? (Think of the OnStar antenna on many GM vehicles)
- BMW and Mercedes can be started and driven off using a laptop. Gone are they days of the usual car thief weilding a screwdriver and pry bar. Now it can be anyone with a briefcase, backpack, or bag, that drives your car off.
- Many high end and high theft vehicles, including BMW, Honda, Porsche, VW, Audi and more, have laser cut keys. There are kits available JUST to bypass these keys on the spot. These kits use a bit of well thought out mechanical engineering, as well as some simple mathematic formulas, to decode your lock on the spot. Thieves aren't dumb as a box of rocks these days, and neither are their methods.
- Hondas and Acuras can be opened and started using nothing more than an oil dipstick, and it takes SECONDS! Ok, I'll admit, not ALL of them are succeptible to this, but any Honda/Acura that is a 1998 or older can be stolen using this simple method.
- Toyota/Lexus/BMW/Mercedes/Cadillac and nearly any other higher end vehicle can be stolen by unplugging the car’s computer and plugging in one that doesn’t check the security features. It's as simple as taking an ECU (the cars computer) and matching key from a junkyard vehicle, and using them in the target vehicle.
These are things that NO dealership, alarm company, audio shop, or anyone else for that matter, will tell you. As a matter of fact, your dealership probably told you that your new vehicle is un-stealable. They say this all the time, and if you want to see for yourself, go ahead and call your dealership and ask them if you need an anti theft device. They will say "No, your car can't be stolen, don't waste your money. You have a chipped key (they might call it something else), so don't worry about it." If chipped keys were unbeatable, then why do new cars still get stolen? Why has the theft rate remained fairly stable even into 2008? Because OEM security measures do absolutely NOTHING to protect your vehicle.

What is it then that makes the Ravelco so much better than everything else?
The Ravelco is a plug-based system. It is "all go and no show" so to speak. It isn't the coolest looking thing in the world, but believe me when I say, it works.
Once installed, there is a small 1" circle "base unit", mounted somewhere inside your vehicle. You will have a small round plug that fits into this base unit, and you will insert it each time you get in, and remove it each time you exit, your vehicle. Without going into all of the specific technical explanations of how the unit itself works, I'll just say that it can't be probed, guessed, hotwired, tricket, or anything of the sorts.
The Ravelco uses 5 all-black wires, none of them labeled, to make all of its connections. One of these wires is a Ground (-) wire, so if someone attempts to start cutting and splicing wires, they will short out the wiring instantly, rendering your vehicle a brick (only until you replaces a few fuses, and maybe a relay or two). On top of that, the Ravelco will kill two seperate circuits in your vehicle. That's right, two completely different circuits. That way, if somehow a thief DOES manage to figure one out, they still have another one.
This all means that your vehicle isn't going anywhere without the Ravelco plug.

How much does the Ravelco cost, and what do you get with it?
The price starts at $449.99 installed. The price can go up from here, depending on your specific vehicle and a few other variables. To figure out your exact price, head over to our Purchase page!
Now, before you gasp, let me explain a few things to you.
There is a good chance that your insurance deductible is more than this. The national average auto insurance policy in the U.S. is $1,928.99 per year. So, not only are you paying tons of money per year to protect your vehicle, some of which would be used in case of a vehicle theft, you also have a hefty deductible that you get to pay if your vehicle is stolen. On top of that, your insurance rate will go up, and even if it only goes up $10 a month, that's $120 per year. Your raised rates would pay for the Ravelco after just 4 years.
Don't fool yourself. Your vehicle is worth the price, and much more. You can't afford to NOT have the Ravelco!
With the purchase of a Ravelco, you get custom mobile installation at your home or work, by a trained technician that specializes in the Ravelco and its installation. The installation is extremely thorough, and unlike anything you've seen before. The typical installation takes 5 hours, and in some cases it can take up to 8. This should give you an idea of how complicated it is to install. All of the connections are made under the hood, and NOT inside the vehicle. They are hidden within the vehicles factory wiring, and in almost all cases, the wiring can NOT be seen. This means that if a thief pops your hood to have a look around, they will be stumped, and would need to spend hours upon hours tearing apart your wiring to figure it out.
You also get two custom coded Ravelco plugs, just in case you lose one, or you share your vehicle with someone else.
And last, but not least, you get a Lifetime Warranty on the installation and the Ravelco itself for as long as you own your vehicle. If anything ever goes wrong with the Ravelco, it will be repaired at no charge to you. No other product offers this, and it is unlikely that they ever will.

Why haven't you ever heard of the Ravelco?
We here at Thieftech weren't born to sell the Ravelco. And the truth is, we were skeptical in the beginning too.
We actually discovered the device when trying to figure out a way to actually prevent theft. Once we found Ravelco, we thought their claims were outrageous. A few months later, we were selling it. We understand that a new product can make you wary, and that is good!
The Ravelco has been around for more than 31 years now. The product was designed by Vincent Ravielle, a young inventer in Texas. Since its inception, the Ravelco has been proven for more than 3 decades, and still stands as the worlds most reliable and effective anti theft device. And, with more than 3.5 million installations worldwide, you can be sure that you are far from the first person to have the device installed.
The reason you've probably never heard of it, is because the product was manufactured and sold in Texas, and Texas only, up until a few years ago. Now, there are dealers/distributors of the Ravelco anti theft device in California, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Washington, Vermont, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Brazil, Ethiopia, Jamaica, and Japan!
The Ravelco has also been featured in numerous news articles and magazines, including Street Rodder, Car & Driver (Two Issues), and GM High Tech, just to name a few.
